We will hike 7.5 km to the highest point of the trek, enjoying magnificent views of snow-capped mountains along the way.

The trek continues downhill for approximately 3 hours until we reach our campsite at Chaullay or Collpapampa (2,900 meters), where your tent will be set up and ready for you, along with warm water for washing. There will be time to rest, nap, or write before our «happy hour» and dinner at around 7 p.m. Afterward, we’ll head to bed for a well-deserved rest.

We will enjoy a delicious breakfast at 6 a.m. before departing from our campsite. Just five minutes into the hike, we will step onto the original Inca Trail. For the next three hours, we will follow this historic path up to a vantage point where you’ll have your first breathtaking view of Machu Picchu through the valley.

We will then descend to our lunch spot near the Hydroelectric Station. After lunch, we will either hike for another three hours or take a 45-minute train ride to Aguas Calientes, where your comfortable hotel and dinner will be waiting for you.
